Why I choose gravel bike over road bike

Ever wondered if it is a good idea to choose a gravel bike over a road bike ? Well it depend on many factor. If you are an avid rider and you are looking on the performance side of the road bike or you are looking to a much more comfortable ride with less compromises.  A gravel bike is a more all around bicycle than the road bike by the fact that it has a wider frame to accept up to 700x42c tire in many cases. A wider tire mean a much more confortable ride without entirely cut on the performance. An other important fact is that nowadays mostly all gravel bike comes with disc brakes. It brake a lot more in rainy or muddy situation or in a huge downhill.
